Writing Reykjavík in Norfuk?[edit source]
The spelling 'Reykjavík' would probably not occur in Norfuk. It might conceivably look something like 'Raekyawik'. I favour the intermediate form Reykyavik because it still resembles the Icelandic word, but more accurately represents Norfuk (and Australian English) pronunciation.
